What is my fate?

My vision is blurred

My judgement is clouded

Am stuck in the middle of nowhere with thoughts racing on my mind

What is my fate?

Am being continuosly exposed to indoor and outdoor pollution

The water l consume is contaminated

I can’t escape being severely affected by exposure to chemicals from large scale and small scale mining

What is my fate?

 The environment l dwell in is being degraded ,with carbon footprints increasing the world loses part of the ecosystem needed to sustain life

And l can’t help wondering what my fate will be

I know a healthy environment is a prerequisite for my physical and mental health ,the more reason l wonder what my fate would be

I yearn to live in a healthy environment conducive for my growth,to have access to clean water and clean air

This is the only chance l  have to be a child.
