The Zimbabwe Alternative Mining Indaba is set to return for a pivotal five day gathering from the 14th to the 18th of September 2026, convening at the Holiday Inn in Bulawayo under the theme “Powering Tomorrow: Reimagining Mining, Energy, Agriculture and Community Development in Zimbabwe.” This landmark event will serve as a critical civic platform dedicated to reshaping the nation’s extractive sector governance, with a sharp focus on critical minerals, value addition, and inclusive development. Across the week, the Indaba will facilitate robust policy debates, foster direct dialogue between communities and duty bearers, and create essential spaces for corporate accountability, all while anchoring local experiences within broader national and regional advocacy frameworks.  By amplifying community voices and connecting grassroots realities to high level decision making, this Indaba continues to solidify its role as an indispensable force in driving a just and sustainable future for Zimbabwe.
